It’s Theme Thursday! Each week Jenn at Something Clever 2.0 selects a theme and we faithfully follow by writing a post about it. This week’s theme is “Things I Love”, which is FABULOUS because I have already written such a post-naturally I figured why not repackage it into a Theme Thursday post!
Theme Thursday: Kid tested, mother approved, or something like that.
I know what you’re thinking-Oh hell no, not THIS post again. I just reblogged it not that long ago, but hey, it IS slightly different from the last two and I spelled “zinfandel” right this time! I’m actually hoping you are a new follower and are reading this for the first time instead of the third as many (ok, a few people. Really it’s probably only two people). Upon rewriting this post, I was bitterly disappointed that I couldn’t find a video clip of Pee-Wee Herman saying “If you love it, why don’t you marry it? Heh heh!” I actually despise Pee-Wee, but I can’t help but think of that whenever I hear that phrase. There are a few things that I love, besides my husband, kids, and family, of course! You could say that I love them so much I might marry them, only I am already married and that would be wrong…
Sooooo, you ask, what do I love? Hang on, I’m going to tell you!
Diet Sunkist Lemonade Mmmmmmm, I keep saying I’m going to quit, but I keep going back. Some might say I am addicted. I say I just like lemonade.
Neutrogena Pear and Green Tea Body Wash It’s like a little spa in my shower. It smells so good, I look forward to showering so I can smell it. Is that weird?
Dark chocolate It’s health food, right? I like the really dark stuff, but not so dark it’s bitter. Dove dark chocolate with almonds rocks. Hershey’s used to make a very dark chocolate that had blueberries, cranberries, and some sort of nut in it. In a pinch I’ll settle for milk chocolate, but I prefer the dark stuff.
My Ipod I have a 16 gig ipod. My music is extremely important to me. I don’t make big purchases very often, but this one was well worth it. I like the fact that I still have room to put more of my favorite songs on it. I have some pretty weird taste in music-it’s so nice to be able to listen to what I want when I want it.
Footwear: Tevas for warm weather, Merrells in cold weather Or as my husband calls them, weird shoes. I don’t care! I’m not a “shoe” person. I’m all about comfort, and it’s very rare that I wear anything but highly comfortable footwear. I own Tevas in three different colors, and Merrells in two.
Tie-dye It’s obvious that I love tie-dye, all you have to do is see the profile pic that I use virtually everywhere! I don’t know what it is about it, I just love it. Maybe it’s the uniqueness of each piece, no two are ever exactly alike, kind of like snowflakes. Note: I was wearing tie-dye long before it was considered in fashion.
Method products All natural, non-toxic, and affordable! I can’t stand to breathe in any kind of fumes when I clean. I don’t exactly need excuses not to clean. These smell so good-though my husband claims the green antibacterial cleaner smells like pee (I disagree). The Lavender is my favorite.
Neutrogena Body Lotion In addition to the great smelling body wash, we have the great smelling body lotion. I don’t wear cologne, except once in a great while. I don’t feel I have to-this stuff smells so good. I buy the super duper giant bottle and it lasts me a very, very long time.
Sutter Home White Zinfandel I have been spelling the word “zinfandel” incorrectly for years, which is sad since I love this kind of wine. It’s my little weekend delight-at the end of every week I get to savor a glass or two of this good stuff. I must admit it’s not my very favorite, but when I can buy a huge bottle at Target for $11 every few weeks I’ll take it!
I don’t have cheese with my wine OR my whine.
Relax Riesling When I’m feeling wealthier this stuff is wonderful. This is my very favorite wine. Also, the bottle looks really cool on your table. Win win.
Incense/candles/scentsy/stuff that makes your house smell awesome Self explanatory.

That body wash sounds good. I’ll have to go smell it at Target. I also think it’s funny we both mentioned Pee-Wee in our posts. And hey, you don’t HAVE to do a TT post on Thursday. I like the early birds best, but the linkup is always open until the following Wednesday at midnight.
It is. I need to go get some more. I can’t stand the smell of regular rainbath but this stuff is nothing like it. I also like their Deep Moisture Body Wash, which I use when my skin is really dry, but nothing beats how this stuff smells! I can wait to do the post, as long as you don’t mind-I know you were a wee bit peeved at people linking up late a while back. I guess I’m a people pleaser, I can’t help it!
I’m a big fan of tie-dye, Tevas and the Method line of products too…great list!
My daughter’s hands broke out in a rash from using regular antibacterial soap at preschool-I didn’t realize how gentle the Method soap is.
Awesome list and I am truly in love with my Keurig (especially mornings like these where I need my caffeine quickly, lol!!)
We bought the automatic coffee maker. Neither of us can remember to set it. We’re losers.
I love those little melty things like the Scentsy ones. I have to keep one going all day, every day b/c my house smells like dog and dirty diapers. I love the RELAX riesling too. It’s like koolade. I think I spelled koolade wrong.
I loooooooove Scentsy! When I was working at my son’s school I had a couple of Scentsy parties. I got a lot of great stuff free. I am thinking about a bottle of Relax here real soon, I believe I deserve it!
I’ve never heard of diet Sunkist lemonade – how is that possible? I’m very familiar with dark chocolate though, and so are my hips.
Yes it is wonderful-I had issues with drinking Diet Dew and that was my fallback. It’s hard to find in certain places. I could buy it up where I live but not two hours away where my parents live. Weird. I would be very sad if I couldn’t have a little dark chocolate every day.

I was a bit surprised that I couldn’t find that particular clip. I found a lot of other clips, some probably not fit for family viewing (with Pee-Wee’s little incident a few years back, that is). I am glad I joined the Bloppys too!

I love my Tevas!! I have had them for almost 13 years now and they are still going strong!!
I LOVE Reisling. I haven’t tried Relax. Beautiful bottle (I’m into cobalt blue anything). Will have to look for that.
They sell it at Target-or you can get the big old giant bottle at your local liquor store. 😉

My nieces and nephew made my son some new born tie dye onsies, of all his newborn outfits those were my favorites. He weighed 6.9 oz so we got a lot of use out of them. I may have cried when he outgrew them. They were so festive and my nieces and nephew were so proud…
My cousin had a little boy recently and she received a lot of tie-dyed clothes like onesies and little shirts. They were too cute! 🙂

I am not a fan of chocolate, and most especially I don’t like the dark chocolate. However, I do remember the Hershey’s bar you speak of and I did eat that and loved it. I guess if you add fruit and nuts to chocolate I can get on board.
I am going to have to find the Diet Sunkist lemonade – never saw that before but would be worth my time to search for it because I too love lemonade. My daughter is addicted to the scentsy candles (she’s 8). The neighbor was selling them at a garage sale and she went ape shit and came home with more than an 8 yr old should ever buy. They do smell awesome though.
It’s kind of hard to find but so worth it. I have been known to go a little out of my way to get it.
Scentsy stuff is good stuff. She’s just starting early! HA HA!
Reisling, yes. I’m not sure if it’s Relax or not, but I usually get a big ole bottle of it at Sam’s Club for $12 or so. So many mentions of wine in the past couple of days…I feel like I need to buy a bottle…or a box. *ahem*

ooh, I should get some of that sunkist, summer is meant for lemonade but I don’t drink the sugar stuff.
