Wordless Wednesday: LOVE

Here’s another blast from my past.  The Professor and The Princess when he was littler and she was just teeny.  It’s hard to believe that she was this little!  What I love most about this picture is how she is looking at her big brother like he is the coolest person on the planet.  She still thinks he is pretty neat, but mainly because he’ll do pretty much whatever she tells him!

  1. It always brings a tear to my eye to see a younger sibling openly adoring an older sibling. It’s every positive adjective about family all wrapped in one look. So wonderful!

  2. Little girls look up to big brothers and older sisters wish they had big brothers to look up. We have two girls (older) and one boy. Although, the girls loved their little brother, they had secret wishes for an older brother. There wasn’t anything I could do to fix that for them, but I remember wishing the same thing as kid. Isn’t that funny? Great pic – she looks so tiny next to big bro!

  3. Aw, this is so sweet. I love it. I’m about 2 years older than my brother and we are very close friends. I’m in touch with him several times a week and I’m so glad I have him. My parents forced us to be close when we were kids and would always say “look at each other. That’s what you will always have in this world.” I never would admit it to them now (because I’m stubborn), but they are totally right. Good for you for installing that same thing with your kids. I love it!
